St. Mary’s Opens New Meditation Garden

Construction is complete on the new David Brewer Meditation Garden, located on the St. Mary’s Dining Room campus. The garden was designed by landscape architect Jeffry Gamboni to be a place of reflection and renewal for the clients of St. Mary’s Dining Room. It also serves as a place to remember the clients who have lost their battle with homelessness and poverty. Every year, St. Mary’s Dining Room clients, volunteers and staff will gather for a memorial to honor those no longer with us. The garden is named in honor of David Brewer, former Director of St. Mary’s Dining Room who passionately advocated for the homeless and financially burdened in our community.
