Petra Linden Recognized

Petra Linden, CEO of St. Mary’s Community Services, received national recognition for her leadership in health advocacy by the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP). The organization presents the Leadership in Advocacy Award at its national conference in Washington, D.C., to a leader who excels as a local safety net health care advocate. In addition, ACAP recognizes several other leaders with an honorable mention award. At the February 8, 2023 annual conference, Linden was recognized as an honorable mention award honoree; she was presented with her plaque at the San Joaquin Health Commission meeting in February.

ACAP represents 78 health plans, which collectively provide health coverage to more than 25 million people. Safety Net Health Plans serve their members through Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the Marketplace and other publicly sponsored health programs.
